According to Pantone's Fashion Color Report, designers are bringing "splashes of sunshine" to the runways for spring 2010. Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institue says "now more then ever women are vigilant when it comes to spending. Instead of reinventing their wardrobe at the start of each season, consumers want pieces to complement what they already own".
This season's top 10 color's include-Turquoise *Pantone 15-5519: has a tranquil, sophisticated and feminine feel or even a retro edge (this beautiful blue green, is declared color of the year)!
Amparo Blue *Pantone 18-3945: with it's bright energetic attitude (pairs very well with turquoise)
Violet *Pantone 16-3320: this light purple hue brings a calm romantic feel
Aurora *Pantone 12-0642: slightly greenish yellow adds a bold infusion
Fusion Coral *Pantone 16-1543: is inviting and provocative
Tomato Puree *Pantone 18-1661: a tangy orange shade (this season's classic red)
And the perfectly pairing neutrals are-
Pink Champagne *Pantone12-1107: a delicate, wispy and bubbly pink tint
Tuscany *Pantone 16-1219: a warm beige hue
Dried Herb *Pantone 17-0627: the ultimate green neutral
Eucalyptus *Pantone 15-05-13: the practical gray (pair eucalyptus with accessories from any of the other brighter colors for this season and you can't go wrong)
